Biography
mad keen drummer while a teenager, but life caught up and suddenly its 45 years since I last played my old Beverley drum kitª
ok I started again as I now have the time, and wow drums have changed in that time.
i decided to modernize and have gone with Roland KD1 KV, which was great, until i felt the old thrill of hammering away on the old skins,whoops modern mylar ,came surging back, so I bought a TD 11 as well.I now have 2 snares, 6 tomtoms ,2 crash cymbals,2 ride cymbals, and 2 high hatsª
The double pedals I remembered so fondly from my youth, are proving a bit of a challenge, with my dodgy knee, but its coming back.
My main influence has always been old grumpy, Ginger Baker.but in trying to catch up I found Blastbeat with MorganvanHelsing ! The influence of youth.
Addition, after three years my kit is now enlarged yet again,added spd sx and spd30 and are integrated as part of the kit.The sound range is massive now and I can bash away for hours, accompanied by wikiloops!
