Thanks for the listen Uli. Very kind of you to listen beyond the tuning issues and hear the music. I appreciate your encouragement.

LieschingLiesching Fantastic sax add to Zams and Marcs beautiful song! This is wade quality!
+1 April 20 2015 21:39:14 LieschingWade
Thanks Marc. Sort of embarrassing as this is really a practice. Such a fun song that I thought would be OK to lay some cheeky/cheesy lines over.

haddockhaddock Hey Wade! I think you made the Cheap Chinese sound very good, always nice to hear your playing smile.gif
+1 April 19 2015 23:13:09 haddockWade
Thanks Haddock. I'm doing what I can. Same one I took to Urft. Just don't play it at home as I have much better ones.

nuno1959nuno1959 Maybe just my ignorance but it sounds great to me here & by the way, how the hell do you intonate a sax ?
Now i'm curious, will look it up on YouTube..

The sax is always an imperfect instrument. The higher the pitch the more you need to control the pitch with your mouth and body. I can play the same note and move it 2 half tones. So getting used to the sound you're playing and making the adjustment automatic is what it's about.

akethesnakerakethesnaker Hahaha love that comment. I have a chinese made guitar who is good. Nice playing Wade!
+1 April 19 2015 23:08:54 akethesnakerWade
No reason why the Chinese can't make good stuff. I just don't expect much out of a cheap instrument...but hey I'm not dragging a $2,000 sax around for obvious reason. The little beastie plays, so it's just a matter of my adjusting to its quirks/limitations.

FrankMilFrankMil Cool add Wade. Very tasteful

Thanks Frank. Doing what I can in a public practice mode.

pklieschpkliesch That's funny. My chinese guitar is called bastard too.
Your bastard sounds much better than mine.

+1 April 19 2015 03:54:25 pklieschWade
Most likely my bastard deserves the title more. The metal is cross between various cheap pot metals and used red army artillery shells. A very unholy union.

Pit BrettPit Brett how nice! i most like your improvisation with marceys at the end. great conversation smile.gif
+1 April 18 2015 21:37:10 Pit BrettWade
Thanks Pit. Big smile from me. I did run over Marceys piano a bit, but wanted to establish that dialogue. Just took over where he went down a bit in volume.
