Cool, good bass players are needed in the performing realm, so that gives you an advantage. A good rhythm section was the nemesis of any band I ever played in.

Been looking for a Bob Marley and the Wailers type extended type jam to do for crawling bop bass like you are doing here. What you are doing at 00:47 and throughout is smooth and sounds great.
