She was overcome with a sense of calm, only this one moment it time mattered. Closing her eyes she shut out the hustle and bustle of life around her, everything she needed to forget and leave behind, like worn out slate grey tiles, no longer creating purpose; she only noticed the scratches and heavy boot marks as she wandered around in circles. Standing still now, she invited this sense of calm to invade everything she wanted to become, everything that brought her back into the light.
