Another terrific track from Steve (SlonMusic). The add is somewhere between lead and backing. Could easily take other lead tracks on top. I won't be around for a few days to check everyone out and chat. Playing a festival...yippee!

AnneCozeanAnneCozean ah, what a fine slice of sound! Steve knows how to lay out an invitation, doesn't he? smile.gif I love your take here, Wade - just chilled to the max, without one iota of apparent effort from you. neat melody you blow - with just a tinge of whimsy. Steve's solo was delightful - full of jaunty confident cockiness - and what a splendid transition out of it. that 4:00 curlicue was the bees knees, thighs and ankles, and you wrapped it up so easily. you guys make a Dynamite Duo - I loved every measure!

I love your reviews! And it's not just that they are positive and supportive. They have depth and look into and through the music examining details while feeling the emotional content. Great ears and even better what's between them.

Thanks Frenzie. Got to admit though I'm just a jammer. I seldom play through and figure out much...just hit record and play. All credit is due to the people who compose these marvelous templates...Steve in this case. If I wasn't such a lazy/busy bastard I'd give these tracks the attention they deserve.

aleonzaleonz your sax sounds sweet and humble (this I don;t know if it's acceptable to picturing the feeling that I get from your sax play), it's always calm the heart and mind to hear you play Wade!, a little late but I'm sure you have a wonderful time playing in the festival!

Thanks Alice. Humble sax playing...well, I guess I've got a lot to be humble about. Being old also makes one humble for all the reasons you can imagine. I live/work in the countryside in beautiful places, so that may be part of the peace and calm you hear.

The festival was excellent with some fine young Australian talent on showcase...I played OK. Very small provincial affair with only around 3,000 people attending. Good thing is it's only 10 minutes from where I live.

Thanks Steve. Was an honor (as always) to sit in on one of your pieces.

Festival was good. Only 6 hours of playing time (over two days) not too bad.
