Yes it's official. I am a 'The Voice UK' reject...and loser. Today I got my bloods tested for hyperthyroidism too...so I'm feeling a bit boo hoo-sie.

fantastic Stella... The voice? you are a real winner for my... You and your songs I reach the heart, something that "the Voice" has never managed to thrill me..I never liked to turn music into a competition, that left scenarios, by the greed that is created around the commercial :)

Exactly! Reminds me of this Dave Grohl quote - sorry to be so long, but it's perfect and fits in right here -

It is really obvious that music has different paths, an art, a business, a feeling, a hobby, a form of expression, but can never become an obsession, is something innate in human beings... Not support the competitions between singers or players just swing but imitators, never bring anything good

Hi Stella, please don´t be too sad about being rejected by "The Voice UK" contest. I only can tell you about what these contests are here in Germany.In my ears and in my taste often the winners are singers trying to imitate those affected style voices with high pitch, which can get on ones nerves very easily:-))). And furthermore they cannot write own songs which made them totally depend on a songwriter/producer.BUT you have a sweet voice and are able to write and arrange songs.This is much more. And regarding the hyperthyroidism diagnosis: This is not a nice thing but nothing which cannot be handeled by medication. Just keep an eye on being treated well and carefully.If you take the right dosage you will feel as always. Regards. Rainer
