Biography
My name is Alex Nyman and I am very happy to be here on Wikiloops and share with all the beauty and love of music.
Instruments
Saxophones-Yamaha 62R Soprano-Cannonball Stone Series Curved Soprano-Yamaha 61s Alto-Yamaha 62 (Purple Logo) Tenor. I use the Boston Sax Shop Heritage Bare Brass saxophone necks on Alto and Tenor.
I use the GS mouthpieces by Brian Currie on alto and tenor. The alto mouthpiece is a copy of a 1940’s vintage Meyer and the tenor mouthpiece is a copy of a 1950’s vintage Slant Sig Otto Link Hard Rubber. On Soprano I use a Selmer Super Session H. Reeds are varied and I use Rigotti/Nexus/BSS/Vandoren/RS depending on what sound I’m looking for.
I use Marc Jean Series 1 bare brass ligatures on all mouthpieces.
Yamaha 800 series Flute with Dana Sheridan solid silver headjoint with 14kt gold lip plate and riser.
I also play Pearl Alto and Bass flutes and a Yamaha 600 series Piccolo.
EWI 4000s with Patchman Sound Files
