Naples, FLBiography
I'm actually a late musical bloomer. I've been playing guitar since I'm 14 but not until I turned 50 did I really start to bloom. I guess that's because I've been working too hard in a career in Information Technology for the past 30 years. But I'm here now.
I've formed or been in 4 bands over the past 3 years and I'm down to 2 solid projects. I love playing live more than anything but would like to experiment with my own music or collaborating with some other like minded individuals.
While I'm no pro shredder at all, I do love to work hard and practice to get better. I'd say I'm a solid player but I feel like I grow with every lick I learn and I do love to improvise. I'm not sure if I'm any good but it's fun trying.
My main guitar influences are:
Jimmy Page
David Gilmour
Eric Clapton
Pete Townshend
Larry Carlton
Mike Campbell
Steve Howe
Robert Fripp
Nancy Wilson
I appreciate many, but these are the guys (and gal) that I look to for inspiration and style.
The more I learn the more I realize I know extremely little. It makes me hungry for more. I'm going to keep playing until I can no longer fret or strum a guitar.
Instruments
Guitar, Bass, Mandolin
