I couldn't resist making the two notes at the beginning and end spell G.E.! A bit of string-percussion in the middle over Paul's fantastic drum work.

You could probably let rip on #120011 Ken. I couldn't figure out anything cool to do for the main part but I bet you could :)

Oh yes - Graceland - what a stunning album! Yes the slidey part was a deliberate attempt to do something a bit African-ish in response to your super drum part. Definitely get the TH connection as well - "I Zimbra" is the one that comes to mind...

Yeh, that album is super. Sound relatively simple in places, but it actually isn't. Very ahead of its time, still sounds fresh 35 odd years later!

yeah - very very cool and so different for the time and even now. They did such a good job of layering simple parts to give an incredible sound.

G.E. could also stand for General Electric! NO!!!!! Really enjoyed those slides and the way it complimented Paul's rhythms. It's A-frikin-good thing.

When I first seen this site I just could not believe the things you could do with other musicians, gone from strength to strength and its all dong to everyone as great musicians, long may it continue.
