thanks domiro, I am already familiar with this bass and with its play, the fifth string in fretless gives me a lot of game and depth in the tone as you can see

I'm happy with this bass, as you say because the economic value is a great instrument, it brings a different tone to my fretless 4-string since it has the fretboard with a layer similar to epoxy :)

Very nice, you could maybe use roundwound strings without too much damage to the fretboard ... the flatwounds have a great tone though! :D They feel nice too. haha

If I could do it, I used roundwound strings on this bass but I changed them because the touch and the tone I liked the more flatwound series, however when I change the string game I think about putting a semiflatwound he he ;)
In a few days I give you news about my new fretless bass obtained on Ebay, there are already three fretless hanging on the wall, when you see it you will like it ... it is a great little Japanese relic ... +1

Ahh .. a new bass! Congratulations, that is always fun. I had a set of those semi flatwounds years ago .. they were like roundwounds that had been ground to a flat surface, I didn't like how they felt under my fingers, but you may like them. To me they didn't feel as smooth and slippery as the roundwounds I was using.
The Japanese have made some great basses in the past, guitars too! :D +1
