Added a gentle Calypso on the hi-hat and kick, with the odd bit of snare in there too. Nice exercise in self-control with this splendid track. Did try a standard salsa drum pattern but it sounded laboured and choppy. The flow of the Calypso seemed to mix in much better. Enjoy

mpointon Thank you, Wade. I wanted to add to this without being 'in the way'. I tried many approaches but, as usual, the simplest was the best.

What was played was simple, it's all in the dynamic of the hi-hat! And it worked. I so have to learn how to keep things simple!
