LeftTheLoops9-18 Latency issues , Peter? Oh how that is so frustrating. I despise latency. They could fix that if they wanted to. If it doesnt get resolved, you may want to invest in a Tascam or Fostex recorder. I am not a fan of software recording at all. Im not sure what your setup is but the driver ASIO4ALL cures alot of it for Windows and Apple.Your profile says you are using Audacity and the Asio4all driver is critical for that. +2

eGiL I 2nd the ASIO4ALL approach! Unless you have an audio-card with an ASIO driver you should install ASIO4ALL as the Windows WDM drivers give you at least 35ms latency, which is too much when recording :/ +1

LeftTheLoops9-18 ASIO4All is mandatory with Audacity it seems. What I did recently is get a Focusrite interface. I run my music desktop monitors from the back of the Focusrite. Then I set all my windows audio drivers to playback thru the Focusrite. Everything whether it be Reaper, The Windows soundcard ....and latency disappeared. Its all going thru the Asio4 all driver of the Focusrite. +2

Stef Your drumming style is always fantastic Peter!! :) For latency problems I can recommend Focusrite Saffire 6 is really a great sound card without any problem of this type.+1
