Forever Love
Tricky, tricky, tricky. Spent a fair while on this excellent collaboration between Marc, Oli and Moonchild. Just couldn't settle on the verse drums. I needed 'air' in the sound but didn't want to drop the sense of swing. I tried pattern after pattern after pattern. In the end, I removed about 70% of the notes I was playing and it started to work, going for space rather than outright 'beat'.
Then there's that push/stop in the verses. A right ...

This is great Martin! So sorry bout that accent in the verses! I can imagine that is was a pain in the *ss to play that accent.... now when i am listening back it was a bit weird placed... but i played it with only a clicktrack to go on....
