FrankieJ Same here. Thinking back it was the loss of club gigs to the dj's spinning disco records.
Nothing personal against dj's, they had to eat too :)

Ernie440 I suppose they needed food too... :D You're right though, the influx of guys with their DJ equipment ... another thing about the local band thing here ... they're basically getting the same amount of $ for a gig now as they were in the 70's and 80's .. it's crazy!! Not worth it really anymore. +1

Love your Title and your very cool reference to 20 years!!!!! I played gigs through the disco era and Loved how it moved dancers but understand the "burned out" feeling it created for both fans and musicians! But my friend, here your bass playing is so much more creative than the bass lines of that disco era!!! Excellent, Ernie!!!+1
