frenzie ok this is nog cool!!! i cannot align your HD!! i always have my HD exactly the same length aa the template so it lines up! :(+1
October 13 2018 18:12:24

Ernie440 wow that sux ... I just lined my HD up in reaper perfectly with TJ's original upload .. I don't understand!! Can you import Tj's track into your DAW at "source tempo"??? with his track I got an alert for the first time ever (in 1900 tracks) in reaper .. it said: "media contains embedded tempo information" I chose to import at "source tempo" ... I dunno maybe that wasn't the right choice... the other choice was "adjust media to project tempo" ... Like I said .. first time I've seen this .. I blame it on Tee with his embedded tempo information .. whatever the f**k that is!! lol :P Changing tempo would change the length of the track. +1

TeeGee TJ?? Geee!!! Anyway, you should never rely on the length of the tracks or the beginning, when it is turned into MP3 or uploaded it often changes a bit. One should always leave a bit of the mixed track in the single track for alignment... +2

Ernie440 he says it's a different length ... I think the tempo changed in his DAW .. like I said, first time I've gotten that alert in Reaper. +1
October 13 2018 18:27:32

TeeGee Someone else had that problem here. You should never allow the DAW to adjust the tempo, you got to put it manually +1

Ernie440 Like I said I chose to import at the source tempo .. I figured that was better than importing at the project tempo in my DAW ... just one of those things .. dunno know why I got that alert on this particular track ... oh wait .. that was the drummer's upload wasn't it. Something he did I guess??? I've played on plenty of your uploads .. never got that tempo alert ... +1
October 13 2018 18:34:34

Ernie440 Yeah I read that thread a while back .. and I did basically what OliV suggested ... left it at source tempo ,,, lines up fine for me t G!!! +1

TeeGee To be honest I use Cubase for a long time but fuzz me if I know what I am doing...who knows if I fiddled with some settings by accident. +0
October 13 2018 18:43:05

Ernie440 Like I said it wasn't YOU ... it was the drummer's upload that got the alert and obviously none of us know diddly squat .. haha +2
