FrankieJ thanks Oli. I dont know what the b string did to piss me off but I sure was thumping it hard near the end :D +1

OliVBee i find the B string to be very often the string that will go out of tune pretty quick and the most touchy to get in perfect tune ... indeed i think that's the B string i spend the most time tuning ôO +1

FrankieJ Agreed. Doesn't help that my nail on index finger has tendency to hook the string. +1

OliVBee i keep mines short and trimmed so they won't be accidentally in the way ;) +1

FrankieJ Always a dilemma for me because I like to play some stuff with the nails. I've thought about trying the glue on nails but that seems like it would be a lot of trouble. +1

OliVBee fingernails playing always eluded me ... i never had strong enough nails to even think of trying this so i got used from the very begining to do without ! later when i turned to jazz i felt fortunate to have been used to play this way for my nails would have never coped with the heavy gauge i had on my guitars : hardly no bend playable ! +1

FrankieJ I use nails on this one with exception of thumb. Had to remove it.
I've been migrating towards the heavier gauge strings. They seem to make easier for finger style stuff and of course more full body sound.

Can you play the track player?

Start and stop, right? That's easy... if you do not have to drop your instrument while doing it.
Get to know the keyboard shortcuts and control the player without ever dropping your plectrum again.
Makes practice and jamming a cinch.
