The main riffs are all double panned, then did 2 tracks with crazy panning back and forth in that fast part (one track is lower volume), clean part is mono with a lot of fx and then double tracked rhythm behind it

sounds familiar. mono gives a lot substance, I had even 2 , one clean, one with stereo delay and slight pan. The perfect volumes is incredibly hard to find, it changes so much
