Nice little atmospheric track from Sami here. Is see WD got here before me but thankfully, his approach keeping it up-tempo was miles from my idea of halving the tempo.
Pretty straightforward from me here - by-the-book half-time feel - but I went for this emphasised push on the kick on alternating bars which I also brought into the fills too. Adds a little syncopated tension and darkness to the track for me.
Enjoy.
HD has reverb on too.

Nice! Cool to hear how two drummers approached this and come up with something so different, but both good in their own ways. I think I prefer the slow approach, but I like slow music so that's me :)

Thanks Dan. You’ve echoed what I said to Sami. So interesting to hear such different interpretations back-to-back.

Thanks, Sami. Love the atmosphere here - I enjoy a bit of moodiness.
Interesting to hear WD’s add too. It shows how just changing the beat can transform a track. Both valid, both render the track completely different in feel. +1
