Thank you to the inimitable Donsk, Sami's and his vocal skill and the Kimbo Factor. A real pleasure to try to slot a restrained horn section into this laid back number

Thank you very much, Ms Shi. A very neat line-up. Where but Wikiloops could you discover and play with such great musicians?

Very cool section work and good to hear you pop forward at the appropriate point. Great beats and feel.

You will have noticed the new Legere American Cut sound. It glues sections together +1

With my tinnitus I'd be lucky to distinguish between a trombone and a sax! Glad if you like the new Legere...I'm still having fun with the Fiberreeds.

I haven't found Fiberreed or Forestone suit me... despite wanting to like them... which I find strange given they are well regarded

Likewise I expected the Legere to work better for me. Haven't tried the American cuts yet though. The signature just didn't give me what I needed. Sure cost a lot though for trying sop, alto and tenor. I haven't tried their sopranino reed yet and am intrigued. I have a two year supply of sopranino cane though...

Mind you one synthetic reed is worth a box of five canes unless you can rework the four that don't play well

Yea, I gave up on cane a long time ago except for sopranino. Legere is the first to make a sopranino reed...thus the temptation...but I'm not using the other Legere...thus the hesitation.

Well Legere have their styles Classic, Studio, Signature and (now) American (but only alto and tenore) so could you have chosen what didn't suit?
I wonder if Legere have simply improved the product with each iteration +0

I got these around 1 year ago and all signature reeds. Every once in a while I'll throw one on and see if it gives me something I'd prefer...so far not yet.
