"Evocative, touching, and yes, haunting" - that was my comment on Shi's wonderful upload onto Guitarrockr's cool template from 2017 (and 2014), but really, even in my own language I'd be out of words to describe the sad beauty of this smashing hit... ... which is/was pretty full, it had a bass already, and didn't need me. Or could I? I took my (classical nylon) guitar to figure something out, then used the bow on my upright bass, doubled that, and ...

wjl Thank you dear Shi :) Still have to pracise that bowing a lot - but you were the first one to have it on a track (even if you don't hear much of it) :) I'm really glad if you like it - I was blown away by what you did here... <3 +0

wjl Thank you Sami :) I turned down the sound of that bowing a bit since I still have to learn a lot about that - so most of what you hear is my fretless :) But I'm glad if you still like it :) +1

wjl I see, thanks for the video. And I think they are different, for bass you need a softer one which would in turn ruin a violin bow - see the comments on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHczX7V1PhM (that's the rosin I also have) +1

wjl Merci beaucoup Erwan :) I turned the two bowed bass tracks way down tho, most what you hear is my fretless (with a bit classical guitar on top)... :) +1
