ahhhh - what a killer bass! way to work it, Ernie. those horns are a great wall of sound. percussion steady as she goes. 1:12 - love that blossoming of Laura's(?) vocal there. guitar is powerful - sweet job, All!

Her vocals are along the same line as the horns. Horns could do what she's singing, and vice versa. Phrasing works I hope.

If you think about it, Ernie wrote this arrangement. He laid it all out back in step 1. We've not changed a thing with his work, just dropped him in and mixed. The whole thing developed along the lines Ernie laid out. Really cool work!

Well i take that back. I did lower Ernie's volume under the lower vocal parts. Had to clear the way for her during those places.
