I really went rhythmic and root note on this one hoping maybe Shi would lend a vocal. I just love this guitar in this song.

Marceys Think a rootnote bass can be very good for the overall track! It gives a lot of presence and solid foundation and harmonic freedom to add a lead on! Great play Joe! :W+1

JoeOnBass Thank you Marc. I heard other takes on it but when I grabbed the bass, this was what I felt at the time. Thank you for the kind words. I was hearing vocal melodies and the bass kept interrupting them so I just laid out depth. Now, if I could only sing! :-) +0
