I've been listening to a lot of Mogwai recently. They combine post-rock guitars with cinematic, soundtrack elements, and I wanted just a tiny piece of it. I can't make anything as epic or creative as they can, but they inspired this simple, looping track. It's very open for different directions - could go heavy, could go pretty. The HD track has no drums! NB. The temp is 120 bpm, but with a half-time feel, so it's slow (of course).
