That's a really cool sound you're using. Sounds like a Japanese Koto. Lovely composition that combines these two different sounds so well.

Here's two references to the Shamisen and the Koto. The shamisen is a three sting plucked instrument that usually only plays one note at a time where the koto is multi stringed and plays chords. They are both plucked, but the Koto has more resonance...like in your track.
