JoeOnBass Thank you. The sound is using the Overdrive effect on the Ampero effects pedal, it's a MusicMan Sterling 4HS bass with an 18v pre-amp in it so it's really forward. I've been leaning toward this sound more for metal recordings. Jazz... not so much :-) +1

Filo974 Thx for infos. I like almost all genres. In my younger days, I listened to only rock and what revolves around it before switching to jazz-rock :D
On metal music, I suppose that you play with a pick ?...

JoeOnBass No sir, all fingers. On rare occasions I will punch in a part with a pic, but I am a finger player. As for jazz, my father influenced my on that but I have always been a rock guy, metal from the 80's an all that. Most anything after 1991 just went past me. +2

JoeOnBass Thank you for the kind comments Anrak. I considered a few different options at that part but a simple bump bump bump seemed to match what I was hearing. I love the tempo that follows that section, really driving. I appreciate the listen. +1

Yup, killer savage grooves, extreme dexterity on the lightning fast little licks, top shelf my man. The periodic dips using bends are sweet. Real solid slammer Joe very enjoyable. +1
