Thanks for that. I tried something different in the later part of the song where I used a repeating motif to capture the chord tones as a group, while the guitar worked through the key, I tried to lay a foundation in the range that held consistently while the guitar cycled through a melody. Im hearing it now without studio monitors, just on the Imac at work, and it's really cool. Thanks for a great track to play to.

My wife heard me working on it and stated that it reminded her of a film soundtrack she enjoyed in the past. Her understanding of music is limited to listening, but she is growing and learning about music. She made a special note of hearing the guitar melody, the changing in the top of the chords and how it shaped the song. She asked if she could have a copy of this for the drive to work. To me, that's the ultimate compliment to a song - if she's sold on it, it's great. :-)
