Lots of us have failing hearing...goes with the territory? Keeping the fingers going is important. My father (who was a pro pianist in his younger days) played every day up to just before he died at 91. He had arthritis but kept it at bay by playing. I've also got it now at 75, so also play every day to keep everything moving. Seems to be working for now.
