rootshell been using ernie ball heavy bottom skinny top strings. top string is a 10. i probably need tension adjustment as it waivers out of tune. +1

rootshell i've tried 11s in the past and didn't care for them, too thick for me, but damn, heavy and dark sounding haha +1

mortheol OK...thanks for the tip:W I normally have 8's on all my guitars for my wimpy fingers...LOL. They are like spaghetti noodles tuned that low:( +1

rootshell haha, i haven't tried 8s, i bet they are great for bending? my usual is 9s, with the drop C being that ernie ball heavy top skinny bottom. do you stick with a particular brand? i usually jump around, but mostly it's ernie ball. +1

mortheol I have really settled on DR Strings both for my electric and acoustic guitars and also my basses, I really like them. They really stay in tune and never seem to break. +1
