First week of spring weather in the UK, so I sat by the mighty Taff river in celebration. It was beautiful in the sunshine: Blackbirds, Great Tits, Herons, Mallards, Cormorants - and an unbelievable quantity of plastic crapola tangled in the branches where the swollen waters were raging just a couple of weeks ago. It's a song of mixed messages, really.
