Miss Funky and Mr Fiddly
Predictably, I took a dive at this great slice of funk from Al-Fadista and Marc. A tidy and tight track which would've been fine with some simple, perhaps syncopated backbeats throughout. But I chose to challenge myself: can I hit those chorus stabs from Marc on the hi-hat whilst keeping things moving..? It made the track significantly more complex to play and took some initial coordination head-scratching but I fancied taking it on.

Marceys Martin, your technique always shines….great steady grooving with a relaxed feel and the choruses are bringing great dynamics! Than the ride flow at the guitar solo! Great!
