Interruptus Nova
It's just been one of those days. I recorded this around 11 this morning thinking I'll have time to do it and mix it. The performance took very little time but I only managed to finish mixing it about 20 minutes ago at 9pm due to the volume of interruptions and unexpected visitors... Hey ho.
Anyway, been ages since I took a pop at a classic bossa-nova and Wade's delightful (as always) performance enticed me straight in.
Simple stuff - classic bossa ...

Thank you, Wade. ‘Easy’ is a tricky word. Simple playing isn’t the same getting it to feel right - for me, at least. Bossas I find hard to do well for this exact reason - the playing is very exposed and landing the right feel and flow is the challenge. And it is what I strive for most in drumming - getting it to feel good and blending in.

You are so right, and we are limited here by not having "face to face" and having to add after each other. I'm using off timing inflections that I probably wouldn't do if playing live with you. However you navigated this well without making either of us sound "off". Cheers Martin.
