A wonderful piano track from the "way backs". This was posted in 2014 by Dave (Rickplayer) who most only know for his blues bass work, but what a fine pianist! Alto sax is in accompaniment mode as it would be a crime to obscure any of Dave's fine playing. I hope you enjoy as much as I did and get a kick out of one of our fine early members.

So glad you and others recognize Dave's fine key-work. At the time I was very complimentary and he more or less dismissed his piano playing and was more interested in playing bass.

I didn't know Dave could play the piano so well. Your sax rounds out the whole piece and gives the whole thing a kind of bar note, just two spots, the joint smoky, I sit at the bar and enjoy two very cool musicians! Thanks for this Wade!

You should check out his bass blues stuff. He did something like a catalogue of all blues bass styles. Pretty amazing. I don't think he got the recognition he deserved at the time.
