The reason for making this peace is a very sad news article I read today, where a 13 yo took her own live after constantly being bullied and physically assaulted both inside and outside school (and on social media) and despite talking to the school's principals, filing a compliant with the police and asking the social media giant to take action, no one did anything at all culminating into the tragedy. Even after she died, the insults still keep coming ...

What a horrible story!!! Such is the state of the world today!!! The stupid, the naughty, the mean so it seems at least win more and more and apparently no one cares! Which in turn also reflects the state of the world!

Thanks for listening and for your insightful comment. I regularly think of the somewhat famous experiments by John B. Calhoun, who tried several times to build a utopia for rats, only to see it collapse every time (there's some controversy over what were the causes of this collapse). Are we rats in a cage and is our society collapsing because basically it has nothing else to do?

Yes, very disturbing experiments with an equally disturbing outcome. We can already see some of this, for example increasing aggression among people. Not always and everywhere, of course. But since the time when I was a child, much has changed for the worse. One example - no-go areas. There was nothing like that in my youth! I could go anywhere and come out of the disco at 3 in the night without fear that I would be attacked and robbed. Happens every day today.It's also because many people are more interested in the Kardashians instead of education or even their neighbors. Stupidity surrounds us.
