Little template to test my new toy... Fender Squier Bass VI, 6-string instrument hybrid between bass and guitar. Add some mute on the bridge and soft pitch/reverb effect. BPM is near 111 not methronome excuse me 🙏. Open to all ideas 😉

Yess! It is exactly a 6-string guitar only with tuning one octave lower across the entire fretboard! same notes and same chord in 30" and 24 frets, only change the gauge of the strings from 0.84 to 0.24 obtaining the sound of the bass in low notes . At high frets you have a more jazzy guitar sound. Listen to this video to see how it works with its pickup selectors.

Thanks Wade!! It is not a baritone guitar (B-E-A-D-F#-B tuning) and it has a 30" scale, that is, in essence it is like a short 30" scale bass with two thinner strings for higher registers in conventional guitar tuning E A D G B E but one octave lower than a guitar, and the same sound as a bass is achieved in low notes and a higher register as in this sample, with the technical advantage that you use the same guitar chord figures ;)
