GeoWaEng This is very interesting Wolfgang, I didn't have seen a spectrum analysis of a cats purring until right now, I assumed it's a very low frequency, your comparison with a bass guitar or piano was very informative also :)
Now I can imagine why a cats purring is so soothing, it's like the lowest bass drone <3 +1
