Things I've learned today:

"Purpose of a Notch Filter: It is a type of band-stop filter that targets a very narrow range of frequencies to attenuate, without affecting the rest of the audio spectrum. In acoustic guitar recording, this is useful to eliminate frequencies that cause feedback or excessive resonance, which are often due to the guitar’s body or room acoustics.

Microphone Placement and Notch Filters: Microphone placement also plays a key role in capturing a balanced sound from an acoustic guitar. If resonances or feedback persist, using a notch filter can complement proper mic positioning by reducing the need to move the mic far away from the guitar, which can result in a loss of tone quality."
