Yes, he's been gone for nearly a year. That was the third and final time he been and gone. First was his leaving on his own. The second time he was (possibly) going to be thrown out because he was being abusive and had brought copyright material here. So he quit before being tossed. He then came back under an assumed name, but was allowed back anyway. This last time... well that's just unfortunately Alex once again bing Alex (who dares question me ... rules, what rules they don't apply to me!). Very sad to see talent that's wasted. He has a "reputation" here in New Zealand and is avoided as a rather toxic person.

I'm sorry to hear that. I've seen his radio broacast live on the Internet, I thought maybe he was a name brand talent. It's sad, he is very talented otherwise.

This was (or should have been) an ideal place for him as he never needed to be directly interacting with people and had the opportunity to expand beyond channeling the styles of a few of his favorite jazz sax players. It's obvious that he's put in the time as a pro, yet has had to keep moving as he wears out his welcome. He's looking to go to somewhere in Europe and has asked (some time ago) for assistance from the community here.
