Had not heard that jam yours, and it's really spectacular Wade

This sax is truely telling a story. Congrats wade!
+1 March 03 2015 22:18:45 Liesching Wade
Thanks, but really just an experiment..not one of my best.

Another cool piece! The way you elicit those haunting, floating tones out of the sax is just great. What do mean, "not much musically??" I hear wonderful tone, excellent rhythm, accurate pitch, flawless timing, and compelling, touching, and emotional phrasing.. What more "musical" do you want, mate??? :)

Very kind of you (and very flattering). I've always thought of playing sax like singing. I want to be telling a story in music or at least giving an emotion or feeling to a listener. Unfortunately not a goal that's always met.
February 27 2015 02:16:14
Finely played :-)

February 26 2015 02:09:17
ooooh yes.
+1 February 26 2015 06:14:16 Zamzam Wade
All thanks go to you for setting up such a good groove. I'm just messing around. You and GB are the the "real deal" here.

Thanks pkliesch! Looking forward to having a play with you sometime soon.

The submission of Zam and Glez is splendid, you sent with your Saxophones the icing on the cake out ;o)

Thanks Uli. More a feel and jam style playing. Zam and GB are terrific in setting up these moods/feels. I'm not adding much, but just using their fine template for some fun/experimenting.

I really like the soprano part! very nice sound!
+2 February 25 2015 22:32:20 javisax Wade
thanks javisax. This is an Eb sopranino, so goes a bit higher. Also a very different timbre (for me). Just messing around...nothing very musical in this.
February 25 2015 22:35:33 javisax javisax
Sorry for my mistake, anyway it sounds great!!! I bought a soprano recently, but still hasn't triedit. It needs adjusment, but lovely sound!!!! yes, now I hear it, I see it goes higher..ooops!!
February 26 2015 06:21:01 javisax Wade
Most people don't believe this, but if you've got a good ear (which I know you have) the sopranino is easier to play. Certainly the easiest instrument to travel with. I've got five...want to buy one? I have even more sopranos and am going to be culling the heard soon.
February 26 2015 15:21:29 javisax javisax
mmm thanks for the offer, but I'm ok by now. First I want to get into the soprano, and see what happens next!
February 26 2015 22:18:17 javisax Wade
Just a tease! Some sax players are Gear junkies. I didn't start out that way, but now have way to many saxes.
February 25 2015 06:06:20
Nice one Wade!
