Copperhead Blues (drums)
Couldn't resist a little go at this piece of authentic blues. Not really my forte, especially at this tempo. I barely processed the drums - no compressors, etc. Just left them as is and left everything to bleed into each other. Drums still sound too modern - that's Yamaha 9000s for you - despite my best efforts. Maybe next time I should record them with the mics in the toilet or something!

Thanks, Balfo. Really appreciated. This loop had such a 'dirty blues' authenticity, if you see what I mean, I just wanted to just 'get' that Orleans laziness. Nothing clever, just try to nail that 'smoky club late at night' feeling. I was almost laying down to play it! ;) One of the loveliest piece of blues I've heard in a long time - just so authentic-sounding. Brilliant piece, both of you.
