This doesn't follow the structure of my other templates. In fact it has no structure whatsoever! It's just me messing around playing random bits and pieces with a continuous fast jazz ride for three minutes or so. I do apologise but the traditional 'hi-hat on the 2 & 4' thing gets the wrong way round in places - jazz is not my strength but it's all in time with the metronome, honest!

Discovered my 17" crash makes an excellent ride cymbal! ...

that's a cool track :) could use a lil bit more variations but there's a very solid consistency : nice drumming !+1

mpointon Thanks, Oli. One of my aims for this year is to improve my jazz playing. That means getting the ride/hi-hat autopilot working properly and developing phrasing with the other two limbs. At the moment, as you can hear it's very random! +1
