So Glad
Another of Marc's increasingly complicated templates! Decided to upload with Fish's fabulous sax rather than against the initial template. Some great tones from Fish'!
Anyway, as usual, couldn't decide what to play. Had a sort of 'idea' in my head but my limbs just didn't want to visualise it so this is an approximation of whatever my brain instructed my body to do.
For the intro and second quiet section, I sort of free-formed under the sax/keys following a basic pattern ...

Marceys Great choice of rhythm Martin! The intro-section is so cool and I like the 02:08 into the second verse a lot! The swing at the end works fine too! I'm wondering when I listen to my own play if I had to change the feel at the end... not sure... it works but think the beginning is more groovy! :)+2

mpointon Thanks, Marc. I love how you push my creativity - it's so easy to just bang out backbeats, so it's nice to think a little more 'out of the box'. It takes longer to do as I have to work through the new beats a fair few times to get it smooth before I do a take.
I did try at this tune yesterday but it was just awful and I got very frustrated, even though I mostly played the same ideas. Glad I left it until today and tried again. Maybe I was just more in the mood. +2
