What a fun and different template! Love it. As mentioned on a previous upload, has a real contemporary African feel to it.

So I've added a drum pattern known as a 'Mozambique'. It starts out on the rim of the snare, onto the cowbell and then into the full tom pattern. UK users might recognise the cowbell pattern famously used for the BBC's Cricket theme music.

This version of the Mozambique pattern comes straight from the mighty Steve Gadd which he played (using two pairs of sticks!) on Paul Simon's 'Late In The Evening'.

I'll confess, I didn't play this from beginning to end - I just couldn't sustain it. So I recorded loads of takes of the patterns and built the track from there.

Hope you enjoy!

mpointonmpointon Thank you for your compliments, everyone. I'm still not convinced by this add - the tempo is a bit slow for the pattern I'm playing so it sounds a bit clumsy to me. But, as I've said before, I love the challenge!

davetdavet Great drums, thanks for adding. I always find keiichiros tracks very challenging because they sound simple but require amazing concentration to maintain timing and keep the feel
