My Lovely Blues Mood
A beautifully sensitive blues ballad from the fantastic Tof here. This was my third attempt at it as the first two recordings I just wasn't happy with.
Initially I went at it with a kind of 'Roseanna' busy shuffle. It sounded cool but just seemed too much. In the end, and as usual, the simplest approach was the most-effective. Just kept it spartan, straight-ahead and sensitive which left the track so much more space to breathe, just picking up the busy-ness ...
