A work in progress. It might be another year before I have the hand strength to play this the way I want to

Not as bad as a friend but 25 years of working as a mechanic and electrician as well as playing guitar makes for wore out fingers. I have only played bass as a primary intrument for about 6 months so I figure my fingers should get stronger

Years ago I would tinker with stuff for fun but after a long day of work I just like to plug in and play.

Assuming right handed, are you swiping the right hand, like strumming? Another year? If you practice three more days youll have it by next week.

My right hand is fine its playing 4 string cords on my left that has me cramped up like crazy now ;)

Okay..I get it now! I usually do chords on the T bird which is a thin neck..much easier. Fenders are always wider necks.
