A very good piece of Omar it is too! This is excellent play, RP3! Excellent, fluid lines performed cleanly and accurately. Not easy with odd-meter music.

Thanks. Really appreciate the compliment. Been working on improving my sound and that has helped my playing. Went into this one with confidence. And no quantization 😀

...and yes the Hakim sound, heavy reverb funk! 80's style, also sounds like Phil Collins (prefer his drums to his singing)...i regress...

Agreed. I'm a huge Phil Collins fan. Just not of his singing! But as a drummer, he was one of the most inspirational players to come out of the '70s for me.
