This is kind of a mix between a drum ensemble and me just doodling (but it is all one take). It was somewhat meant as a stand alone piece, but I could see some piano mixing in really well as a duet. It keeps a similar tempo throughout, but it is very free-form. I really enjoy the different timbres of these drums; I have a marching snare teamed up with some congas, bongos, and some Japanese Taiko ...
