didn't even know you needed to oil a hammond, I guess that's where that greasy blues playing comes from !:)

Yeah they are fascinating instruments. The originals contain a tone generator with 91 gears, driven by a motor, that induce current into 91 little coils that gets amplified, and creates that Hammond sound.
