Had this splendid track from Oli on my to-do for ages but struggled with the style. Marc's add gave me exactly the direction I needed!
Went for a gentle bossa in the verses, moving on to an intricate backbeat in the choruses, trying to hit those phrases. Those phrases were utter pigs to hit, especially as they were different in each chorus! A lovely, lovely track but very challenging to do 'right' for me.

OK, I get how much work and thinking can go into being such a perfectionist. Wish I could hear that accurately, but still appreciate the learning. Yet I know that you will be amazing at the big jam without any preparation for anything. You're a fabulous drummer.
