Are you sure you're not hearing Piper's Synth--It's really cool in combo with the guitar it sounds like backtracking delay.

It's weird putting on new strings took the static noise out of my volume knob not to mention the sound was way more crisp. When I recorded I used an amp in Logic, mixed it down and the guitar was too loud so I went to the amp and took down the overall output as I had all kind of volume adjustments, so that was a good quick fix. I still had to do some Volume adjustments on the timeline. I didn't want to lose Piper's really cool key/synth/drums. But alot of the volume control was manually with my vol knob--really enjoyed having such a good background(Brian and Piper) to float on so I could put my brain on doing that.
