This was written in 1995 as I was watching CMT country TV station. On that fateful afternoon, I saw a bunch of dancers and one couple just caught my eye. The man, cowboy hat and boots, was about 5 feet tall and skinny as a rail. The woman he was dancing with was about 5 foot 8 and 450 pounds. Now she had squeezed about 250 pounds of that into a pair of blue jeans. How the seams held all that is STILL a mystery to me. She had 2 inch rhinestones all over the thighs of her jeans. Now with the seams stressed to the max I thought to myself, if those jeans exploded the rhinestones could become shrapnel and probably take out 20 of the dancers...killing them. Well at the time I hated country music with a passion and just couldn't take listening to it anymore and turned the channel. Don't know if it ever exploded but if it had I'm sure the liberal Democrats would have called for a ban on rhinestones and blue jeans......I do have a warped sense of humor.
